myTU - Neue Ideen und Konzepte

Abstract

myTU is a personal learning platform for smartphones. It’s in use at the Technische Universität Bergakademie Freiberg since 2011. In the future the app will be equipped with new and enhanced functionality. We aim to offer a generalized learning platform for all colleges, which is based on the bring your own device principle. Given the current state and scope of the project we will strive to connect OPAL to our platform, generalize the layout and interfaces, extend the functionality and develop a concept of multistage authentication. This white paper outlines the current state and introduces the new ideas of the myTU project.
