Job Intelligence-Services für Hochschulen

Abstract

Job adverts in online portals provide an interesting data source to identify and track qualification requirements in the employment market. Higher education institutions should use this data in order to develop training and education services which fit the needs of the market. For this purpose, it is necessary to collect job adverts from online portals and to mine their content by use of automatic text analysis. Our contribution suggests a technical solution which is able to gain detailed insight into current qualification requirements based on online job portals. In order to supply institutional decision makers with the resulting information, we also devise a proposal for adequate job intelligence services.
