Teletutorien als Instrument zur Ergänzung der Präsenzlehre – Konzeption und Umsetzung für einen berufsbegleitenden Studiengang der Wirtschaftsinformatik

Part-time degree programs face the challenge of ensuring a high quality of supervision for students, even though they only have relatively short periods of attendance on campus and therefore have limited availability for direct exchange with lecturers. This article therefore presents the design of the teaching format of the teletutorium for a new part-time master's degree in Business Informatics at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences. Teletutorials are conducted in addition to classroom teaching on the basis of web conferencing systems and can contribute to intensifying the quality of the relationship between university teachers and students. The article describes in the form of a practical case study the conception of this new type of teaching format as well as the necessary technical components and organizational measures for the implementation of teletutorials at the University of Applied Sciences Osnabrück. Finally, lessons learned are presented, which reflect the experiences and impulses for further development.Downloads
