Abstract

Caused by several reasons concerning new options in producing and distributing e-lectures, the interest in e-lectures for e-learning has clearly increased. Since rapid-authoring-tools are commonly available, the workflow from the production to the final distribution of e-lectures is easier to handle and provides more flexibility to the Author. Due to the multiplicity of possibilities in the workflow, individual conditions and requirements can be taken into account. In the present article we face these changes and give an overview on the variety of options in the process of production and distribution of e-lectures in the internet. To specify an individual workflow we discuss different decision criteria to determine tools and platforms and their educational implications.
